A beta version was released back in July and the announcement for the final product came Thursday. The WebMatrix is available in nine languages and is designed to be accessible for anyone wanting to create a website. There are more than 30 hosting companies in 18 countries involved with the program.

Microsoft offers free videos on its website on how to use WebMatrix. The program is also backed by open application partners such as WordPress, Joomla!, DotNetNuke and Umbraco.
PayPal has partnered with Microsoft and announced its PayPalX Helper. The program lets developers integrate payments within their websites or ecommerce applications that are offered by WebMatrix. WebMatrix provides the web server, database and frameworks.
